Andy has lived in Potsdam his whole life. He enjoys the community aspect of the Co-op. Working here provides the opportunity to serve the members of his hometown. He loves the quality and affordability of the bulk, produce, and local meat departments at the Co-op. He also buys lunch from the Carriage House every day and it never gets old. Outside of work, Andy enjoys music, sports, the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
I was born in Massena, NY. My family moved around a bunch but always within a 20 mile radius. I graduated high school from St. Lawrence Central in Brasher, NY and moved to Potsdam in 2007, where I live now with my partner and our two children, Elliott and Jude.
Originally from Arkansas, Bakari has lived in Potsdam for over six years. A textile artist, Bakari enjoys spinning, weaving, and naturally dying wool. He enjoys photography and is a hiker. Bakari’s favorite things at the Co-op are the organic fruits and vegetables.
Lynn grew up in the Adirondack foothills but especially loves the sense of "community" in Potsdam and Canton, of which she considers the Co-op to be an integral part. Except for two years living near Syracuse, Lynn has resided in this area since transferring to SUNY Potsdam from a college in Buffalo to finish her degree. She and her housemates were members of the Co-op then, a time when membership and working were required.
I am originally from right here in Potsdam. The only time I have lived elsewhere was when I was in college at SUNY Plattsburgh. I love the area, and my family is here, so I plan to stay for the foreseeable future.
