Where are you from?
I was born in Massena, NY. My family moved around a bunch but always within a 20 mile radius. I graduated high school from St. Lawrence Central in Brasher, NY and moved to Potsdam in 2007, where I live now with my partner and our two children, Elliott and Jude.
What do you like about working at the Co-op?
I've worked at the Co-op for roughly 10 years and I feel blessed to be here. I've always loved Potsdam and the community; but some of the best people in it shop at the Co-op and working here gives me the opportunity to interact with them on a daily basis. I value our mission of bringing good, clean food to our community, educating the public on the importance of the Cooperative model, and supporting our local economy. I also have some pretty awesome co-workers that are like a second family to me.
Do you have a favorite product that the Co-op sells?
What can I say? I love food! The Co-op sells some of the best natural and organic food on the market and as a Buyer, I'm always on the lookout for new (and delicious) products! That said, I'm a big fan of our kombucha selection and while it's not exactly “food”, our CBD oil from Head + Heal is a product I use daily so it definitely deserves an honorable mention!
What's something others might not know about you?
If you're my friend, you probably know that I love to sing and I do it often; but despite my musical talent, I have no idea how to read music! I'm self-trained and proud of it!
